Today I want to do a mini review on a product that I can't seem to keep my hands off of. It's one of those products that I had an instant love for. I'm talking about L'oreal's Telescopic Shocking Extensions Mascara. Yes, L'oreal has gone and done it again! YAY! This mascara is incredible.
I have to say when it comes to mascaras, in my opinion, L'oreal has it figured out. I always find myself comparing their formulas to higher end mascaras and this one is no exception.
First of all I must comment on the packaging. It actually looks like a higher end mascara,it's sleek and I love the fact that the base is bigger so you can stand it up. First impressions of the brush were mixed feelings, I usually prefer a fuller applicator with softer bristles, but surprisingly enough this brush works great with its formula.
The formula is another major bonus to this mascara, it's not too wet and doesn't dry too fast, so it leaves time to apply it from lash base to tip and you still have time to separate the lashes and de-clump if need be. The black is a true black, which L'oreal has down to a science.
I always skip the waterproof formulas, I find them always to be off just a bit, but that is simply personal preference.
All in all I would definitely recommend this mascara. I will purchase this again. I find this, dare I say it, close to the Benefit They're Real formula.
