I don't know about you, but when I head out for a day of shopping I want to be super comfortable, but still look trendy. I like to look put together, but like I didn't try too hard. If that makes sense.

I saw this photo of Jessica Alba, who's style I absolutely LOVE ❤❤ and I thought this would be a perfect shopping day outfit for Fall. So I put together my version of this outfit with another addition of....

I really love the balance of pairing a pair of well worn jeans with a light blouse. It really looks put together-without looking too over or under dressed. I also think it is an absolute must adding a scarf- it just screams Fall and by adding a scarf that has some direct contrast it really draws the eye in. Of course I too, like Ms. Alba, opt for a crossbody bag-that way all hands are free!! My choice was a Michael Kors black and gold bag. I love the gold hardware on this bag. It gives the outfit a bit of an edge.

Let's talk shoes! While Ms. Alba wears a flat open toed sandal. I chose something more Fall appropriate. I love this shoe by Chinese Laundry so much. If I was running around shopping I am definitely in a flat-comfort is a must. I love the detail at the ankle and it will keep the toes warmer with a closed toe for this time of year.

For accessories I love that they were kept simple for this look. A silver boyfriend watch from Fossil (love Fossil-they have amazing customer service- shout out to Fossil), a pair of simple hoop earrings-like these ones from Forever 21 and a great statement ring, like the one shown above from House of Harlow. Very low key, to keep the look soft and feminine. I would never leave without a pair of sunglasses and I love the pair Jessica is wearing in the photo. I chose a similar shape with Ray Ban. Last, but not least a great Fall polish like Essie's licorice. I love the idea of wearing a really bold polish, especially with this look. It also helps draw the eye in against the delicate blouse and jewelry.

So this wraps up another addition of...If Pinterest Were My Closet. I have to say these have been so much fun to put together! I hope you guys are enjoying them too!!
