IN A PINCH: DIY Salt Spray

One of my favorite summer hairstyles are the tousled beach waves. It is a simple style that always looks great. Just because the season has changed, doesn't mean  we can't take some of the beach days with us!

A great product that makes these beachy waves easy to achieve- Salt Spray! Just about all hair care product lines carry some type of salt spray, but you can easily make your own that will keep the cash in your pockets! It's quick and I will even show you a secret ingredient that will help repair your hair and add extra shine!

What you need:

1. Spray Bottle


2. Water (distilled works best)


3. Epsom Salt


4. Organic Coconut Oil

Instructions:

1. Fill the water bottle 3/4 of the way with distilled water. You can use regular tap water, it's up to you.

2. Add 2 tbsp of Epsom Salt.

3. Place the water bottle cap back on and shake until the Epsom Salt has dissolved.

4. Add 1 tsp of Organic Coconut Oil.

5. Apply cap again and shake until Coconut Oil is dissolved.

Ready to go!

Tip: Remember to shake your salt spray before each use!

It's that simple. Now you have a salt spray to create those tousled beach waves! Adding the Organic Coconut Oil adds a shine factor and the proteins help to repair hair damage. Enjoy your new found hair product and your beachy waves!
