So the race begins, to find that one beauty phenomenon that will hide these beastly intruders. Well I think I have found my own little revelation and I want to share it with you....NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer is a product that I don't think I would ever want to go without again. Here's why...
True to the classic NARS packaging, this brilliant concealer has an easy grip handle. NARS created that top of mind awareness when they created their packaging around that unique velvet-rubberish texture.
This is it's best feature by far! The NARS concealer formula is so silky and creamy that it glides onto the skin like butter. I can feel the immediate hydrating qualities as I begin blending it into my skin. It's concealer bliss!
I also love how intense the pigmentation is. A little goes a very long way to say the least and it does an outstanding job of really covering up my under eye circles in a few effortless strokes. It does the work for you not the other way around.
So how do I like to apply?
That's right your heard me...a foundation brush. Why? Well, first of all it's not just any foundation brush. You want to make sure it has synthetic brush hairs so that it won't absorb the product on you. It seems like a tragedy to waste such an amazing product. So let's not lose any of it to our brush! Secondly, you want it to be a flat, tightly packed brush. This will help you apply the concealer quickly, you simply just pat it into the skin and voila....done. Thirdly, using a larger brush will also cut down on application time. {The brush in the photo is a Sephora brand foundation brush.}
Now that you know what tools I use, what about the technique....
After I apply the concealer to the under eye. I use the following steps to give me full coverage.
Step 1: Pat concealer into under eye area.
Gently patting the concealer underneath the entire eye are, stopping at the cheek bones will ensure that the majority of the product is where it needs to be.
Step 2: Push concealer into inner corner.
So many times this area is forgotten and it is SO important to push a little concealer here. It really helps brighten the eye and create that fresh awake look we are all after.
Step 3: Gently pat remaining concealer onto eyelids.
This is a great step to incorporate into your concealer routine. Our eyelids are made up of very thin skin and often times veins and redness can be seen. Patting a small amount of concealer helps to even out the skin, providing a consistent canvas for our eye makeup application.
That's it!! With the right tools, technique, and the NARS Radiant Creamy concealer you can wave goodbye to your unwanted under eye circles.
Have you tried NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer?
freakin dream to work with...

It really is...a bit pricey but worth every penny. :)
DeleteWow you can really see the difference it makes in the before & after shot. I have the other concealer from NARS the one in the stick form, I forgot the name sorry, but I really want to get this one. I think it would also be perfect for covering up those dry blemishes you get in the winter time. c:
