Manicure Monday

Happy Manicure Monday! I hope you everyone is having an amazing day!! I had a busy weekend around the house again! I am going to be sharing some of my decor ideas very soon! So stay tuned!!!

This week I couldn't help pull out the glitter! Spring is in full effect and with summer just around the corner what better polish to pull out then a gold glitter!

What I love about this glitter application is the fact that you can apply it without needing the steadiest of hand! I think it actually looks super cute to have this glitter applied a bit uneven!

Here's What I Used:

Forever 21's love & beauty in taupe
Sephora by OPI in The Golden Age

Here's How:

Paint 2 coats on each nail of taupe.

Using The Golden Age begin applying a the cuticle, creating a horseshoe shape along the edge of the cuticle!

That's it!! Simple! Don't forget to finish up with your favorite top coat! Mine is Essie's good to go!

I love this look because it takes minimal time, but takes a regular polish up a notch! Plus, who doesn't love a little glitter right?!!

I hope you enjoyed my Manicure Monday!!! Let me know what you are wearing this week!!

Manicure Monday

Happy Monday to you all! I hope you had a great weekend! I have been so busy with things around the house (still setting up after the move)!!! We put an order in for some new patio furniture and I am busy doing all the plans for that!

I wanted to talk about a new color I picked up over the weekend from Sally Hansen Hard as Nails called Coral Reef! It is such a beautiful vibrant color for this time of year! I am super excited about this one, I think it would look great on fingers and toes as a matchy-matchy mani/pedi.

I definitely will reach for this one alot and the great thing about these polishes is the price! I think I picked this one up for about $2.50USD. Pretty great, right!?

I also shortened my nails, I think I like my nails a bit shorter for the bright polishes right now. I always flip-flop back and forth with my nail length.

So what is on your nails right now? Are you wearing them long or short for this season?? What were you up to this past weekend??

Manicure Monday

Hello and a happy Monday to you all! I am so sorry I have not been posting, this was a whirlwind of a week! Whew, but this is a start of a brand new week and I wanted to share with you another addition of Manicure Monday! Yay!

I went on my first date night in over two and a half months! I know right?? We did a big move and in that time could not find the time to relax and go for a date night, so last night was so much fun! We went for dinner and listened to some live music! Had a blast!

So with that being said these are my nails from last night and I just love them! Why? Because of the new blue I added to my collection! Essie's butler please. It is the most gorgeous blue and I think really the ultimate blue shade for Spring!

Here's What I Used:

Essie butler please
Sally Hansen White On
Deborah Lippmann Across the Universe

Here's How:

Start by mixing three drops of White On with one drop of butler please. Mix the two colors together until you get a baby blue color. Paint this color on your little fingers and pointer fingers.

Next mix two drops of White On with one drop of butler please and mix. Paint this color onto the ring fingers and thumbs.

Paint one coat onto the middle finger of the original butler please color.

Repeat the steps above for a second coat and allow to dry.

Then paint one coat of Across the Universe onto the ring fingers.

As always, finish up the look with your favorite top coat. Mine is Essie's good to go!

There you have it! A beautiful blue manicure! I love playing with colors lately, mixing to find other combos! Let me know if you try this look! I always love seeing your take on the manicures I post!!

What is on your nails right now?

Manicure Monday

Happy Monday to you all! I hope everyone had an amazing weekend! I am here today with another Manicure Monday post!

Today I wanted to try something geometric! So keep reading to find out what I used and how I did it!

What I Used:

(left to right)

Sally Hansen #300 White On

love & beauty Neon Pink
Essie Mink Muffs
L'oreal #530 now you sea me
Nail Art Brush

Here's How:

Paint all nails with L'oreal now you sea me. I used 2 coats to make sure I get the full color.

Using the nail art brush and Mink Muffs begin drawing random connected lines on all nails.

With a clean nail art brush and White On, trace along alternate sides of the Mink Muffs lines.

Pick up the Neon Pink and trace opposite sides of the Mink Muffs and White On.

Paint a coat of top coat to seal in the manicure. I use Essie good to go!

That's it!! Super simple fun design!

I hope you liked my geometric manicure today! What are you wearing on your nails right now??

A Manicure Monday on Tuesday!

So the better late than never saying applies to today's post! I normally do a Manicure Monday post, but yesterday was a little crazy so with that I give you a Tuesday Manicure! Doesn't have the same ring, but it works!

I hope everyone had an excellent long weekend! Hopefully the Easter bunny was good to you all.

Today's nail tutorial was inspired from some flowers I picked up last week. I hope you like it, keep reading to find how how!

WHAT I USED:

Sally Hansen Insta-Dri #32 Instant Iris
Sally Hansen Insta-Dri #450 Lickety-Split Lime
Sally Hansen Insta-Dri Chartreuse Chase
Revlon Color Stay in Buttercup
Sinful Colors in 24/7
Dotting tool
Nail art brush

HERE'S HOW:

Paint all nails with 2 coast of Instant Iris, leaving the ring finger unpainted.

Paint the ring finger with 2 coats of Chartreuse Chase.

Allow to dry, but first paint a coat of Essie good to go. This will help seal in the manicure and speed up drying time.

Using the small end of the dotting tool, begin random dots with Lickety-Split Lime about 1/4 of the way up from the nail tip, in a small circle pattern.

Next using the larger side of the dotting tool and Buttercup, paint random dots around the Lickety-Split Lime.

Take the nail art brush and Instant Iris, begin drawing the leaves of the flower.

Using 24/7 go in and create some detail within the flower petals with the nail art brush.

Allow to dry and then paint another coat of good to go to seal in the flower design.

There you have it! A spring inspired manicure! I love love love Instant Iris it is the most beautiful color for this season and it looks great with a tan!

I hope you enjoyed!! What are you wearing on your nails right now??

Manicure Monday

I can't believe it's Monday again already! Last week flew by way too fast! With that being said it's time for another Manicure Monday!! Yay!

To create this look I used OPI's Bogota Blackberry, which is this beautiful black with a burgundy undertone! This has to be one of my favorite polishes of all time!

I recently purchased a dotting tool so that I could explore the world of nail art! I used the dotting tool and the metallic silver polish from the Forever 21 Love & Beauty nail polish line and randomly began dotting my ring finger! I then used Nicole by OPI's Confetti Fun from the Selena Gomez collection to fill in any space!

I hope you enjoyed this look for Manicure Monday, have a great week!! What is your manicure this week?

Manicure Monday

I wanted to share a nail color that I have been loving the past few weeks. Mink Muffs by Essie, this is a staple color in any nail addicts collection and I am no exception. This is the perfect winter color, it's the seasonal answer to the nude nail.

Definitely a classic go to nail color that would look great on any skin tone!
