After having done some research on the up and coming beauty trends for 2013, I am really excited, because so many of them will translate well from the runway to an everyday application.
Here are some that I found and am loving, as well as some product recommendations to help you get started!
Red Lips
According to the Spring runway shows from Burberry, Prada, Missoni, and so on, the classic red lip can show up in many different hues from a creamy crimsons to a dramatic darks. In any case gone are the spring days of a naked lips. Bolder is better!
A Bold Liner
The famous cat eye seems to always be a beauty favorite and spring 2013 is no exception. Liner looks were seen at the Roberto Cavalli, Lavin, and BCBG shows for spring. Everything from a smokey smudge liner to a to bold ink winged liner. So get out your pencils, liquids, and gels to create your bold liner favorite.
Lash Glamour
Gaultier and Gucci displayed playful plumped up lashes for spring 2013 and I couldn't be more excited about this look. I will most definitely be pairing a red lip with lush lashes this spring! Whether you plump up your lashes with the blackest black mascara or dust off your falsies one word comes to mind, Twiggy.
Say good-bye to barely there brows, Marc Jacobs and Versace rocked the brows as a major beauty accessory to their spring 2013 runway looks. Now might be a good time to let your brows gracefully fill in and if not there are plenty of different ways to fill in your brows, from pencil to powder.
If you are looking to bring some color into your spring looks you might want to consider aqua, turquoise or any other jewel tone that reminds you of an ocean getaway. Stella MacCartney, Fendi, and Kenzo paired a nude face with a pop of eye color.
This is always a personal favorite of mine, coming out of the winter season to see that the skin finish for spring is luminous and fresh! This year Dolce & Gabbana along with Ralph Lauren gave us models with the most incredible dewy skin finishes I have seen in a while. There are so many different illuminating products that can help achieve this look.
These are a few looks that I am going to be wearing for spring! What are your favorite looks for spring? Are there any that you wouldn't try?
